ABOUT MEL RAD REPORTS

The Story

I've been cooking since I was 13 years old. That's 42 years of learning what works, what doesn't, and what ends up collecting dust in a cabinet.

When I got married at 18, I started buying kitchen gadgets. A lot of them. Food processors, choppers, slow cookers, fancy thermometers, storage containers, you name it, I've probably tested it. Some of them have been genuine game-changers. Most of them? They sit somewhere gathering dust, or I end up giving them to one of my daughters.

The frustrating part is the money. Spending good money on things that don't do what they claim to do. Buying something because it looks cool on Amazon, only to realize it's a waste of counter space. That frustration kept adding up.

Then I thought: what if I could take that frustration out of the buying process for other people? People who are too busy to do their own research, spend hours reading reviews, or test gadgets themselves. People who just want to know if something is actually worth buying before they spend their money.

That's where Mel Rad Reports came from.

What You'll Find Here

I test kitchen gadgets the way I've always tested them, in a real kitchen, making real meals, seeing what actually works and what doesn't.

Every review is honest. You'll get the pros, the cons, and my bottom line: yes, no, or "it depends." I don't review something because it pays the most commission. I review it because I'm curious about it, tested it, and think you should know what I found.

I'm not a professional reviewer. I'm someone who's been cooking for 42 years, bought hundreds of kitchen gadgets, and learned a lot about what's worth your money and what isn't. That's the perspective I bring.

Why This Matters

Kitchen gadgets are everywhere. Every product promises to change your life, make cooking easier, or solve a problem you didn't know you had. The marketing is slick. The promises are big. The reality is often disappointing.

I've wasted enough money on gadgets that don't deliver. I've talked to friends and family who have too. And I knew there had to be a better way to help people make smarter buying decisions.

Mel Rad Reports is that way. No corporate backing. No affiliate kickbacks for the highest-commission products. Just real testing in a real kitchen, by someone who has spent four decades learning what actually works.

Let's Be Clear

I do use Amazon affiliate links. When you click "Shop on Amazon" and buy something, I earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. That commission helps me keep testing and writing.

But here's the thing: I only recommend products I've actually used and believe in. My reputation, and your trust, is worth way more than a commission on a product that doesn't work.

What's Next

I'm testing new gadgets all the time. If there's something you'd like me to review, get in touch.
